Once you’re engaged it’s time to go viral! Well at least among your family and friends. There are videos for EVERYTHING in 2017 and why not use that to your advantage. With all of the planning, consultations, rehearsals, shopping and much MUCH MORE let us help you at least cut one step out of the equation. Here are the top 3 reasons to invest in an engagement video shoot this year!

1. Take a day off to relive the moments.

Do you remember your first date? Or here’s a better question, do you both agree on the same details of your first date? We always run into the brides that say we met here and the groom insists you actually met at work. Solve the problem by revisiting both, talking it over and stir up a humorous debate. Your videographers will capture it all and with some beautiful b-roll shots to set a loving tone and it gets everyone pumped to Save the Date for your wedding.

2. Speaking of Save the Dates!

So yea… Check out the graphic below on how it’s normally done (I’m sure you’re familiar with the process). You’re spending time picking out card stock and design, then you look up and you have to address them all and send them. Couple of months later and it’s time to do it again with invitations. Videos do all the work for you. Share it on social media or send it to the non facebookers through email. This is a piece that be embedded to your wedding website or really wherever you see fit. Get as many eyes on it as you need to get everyone excited to mark their calendars

3. Finally you’ve got the reception screening.

If you can contain your excitement and keep a good secret then engagement shoot videos make a beautiful piece to show during a reception. If you already have plans to maybe show off those of those cute baby photos or engagement photography on the big screen then make space to show off your night on the town video shoot. Show your guests how he makes you curl over in laughter or when she wanted to reenact the rain scene in the Notebook. Having something to tune into after everyones eaten and waiting for those dances and speeches to start is one of the coolest ideas we’ve witnessed so far as vendors so we’re passing the idea to you!

Anyway you choose to show off your engagement shoot, it’s a fun way to give everyone a small peak into your journey as a soon to be bride and groom. Take a day off from all of the cake tasting and color matching and spend it having a blast with friends of the bridal party or just your fiancée alone to capture date night/day on film.
